Dex-Star Cabinet Made for the Unreal Arcade
I've been working at expanding the software I use to develop my work. Dex-Star was the first in a three-parter to develop my skills using Substance Painter. The concept I came up with was creating an arcade, which I can add more machines to overtime, and eventually program games onto the cabinets themselves.
I used an work flow pipeline, starting out with cenceptualising the idea, developing the model, texturing in photoshop, developing the textures and normal maps in Substance Painter, and then rendering the model in Substance Painter. I then extracted the new textures and maps for use in Unreal.
This is the first project I have done using Substance Painter.
Screenshots are taken throughout the development process.
Tools Used: 3DS Max, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Iray, Unreal Engine 4.
