About

I am a 3D Artist, Texture Artist, Prop Artist and a UI artist currently living in Salford. I am studying Computer Video Games Design and am in my final year at Salford University.
I focus mainly on real-time gaming environments, building environments and assets to create exciting and unique places for players to explore. I have a wide variety of skills in both traditional and digital arts and wish to persue my passion in video game design.
Alongside doing in game environments, I focus my time on creating responsive and in depth UI elements for the projects that I have been involved with. Photoshop is my tool of choice alongside Illustrator for more vector based work. I tailor my workflow starting with menu diagrams and flow charts to map out menus and direction. I use source control methods to revise my work as I develop it through to the final pass, which will eventually end up being a UI element within our games.
Agile methodology is key to my work, I use sprints to keep track of what I need to do, how long I have to do it, and if I have any spare time to refine my other work. I am very familiar with agile methods to manage my projects, as time management is vital to producing assets quickly, and to a high quality. Project management is a vital part of any project, working to strict deadlines is something I have grown a custom to during my time of being a game designer, so I am very familiar with the project management skills that are required within the industry.
